Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Linkop ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our app. Linkop is a personal link manager: it helps you save, organize and read your links. We designed the app to be private by default — most of your data never leaves your device.

1. Data stored on your device

The core of Linkop — your saved links, notes, tags, shelves, favorites, settings and downloaded articles for offline reading — is stored only on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no servers that receive it.

2. Data we collect and why

Purchase information. When you purchase Linkop Pro (monthly subscription, annual subscription or one-time lifetime purchase), the payment is processed entirely by Google Play. Google shares your purchase confirmation with RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, so we can unlock the Pro features you paid for. We never see or store your payment card details.

Device identifier. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous installation ID to your app so it can associate purchases with the correct installation (for example, to restore a purchase after reinstalling). This identifier is not linked to your name or email.

AI organizer. If you choose to use the AI organizer, the titles and content of the links you select are sent to the AI provider that you configure using your own API key. This only happens when you actively use the feature, and you control the provider.

3. Sharing of data

Google Play — processes payments and stores your purchase records.
RevenueCat — verifies and manages subscriptions.
Your chosen AI provider — receives the content of links you process with the AI organizer.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or analytics SDKs.

4. Data retention

Data on your device: kept until you delete it.
Deleted links: moved to the trash and permanently removed after 30 days.
Purchase records: retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own policies (typically as long as your account exists, for legal and billing reasons).

5. How to delete your data

Because your data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time without contacting us:

Open a link and tap Delete, or delete links in bulk from the home screen.
Open Settings → Trash and tap Empty trash to remove deleted links immediately (otherwise they are permanently removed automatically after 30 days).
To erase everything at once, clear the app data on your device or uninstall Linkop.

If you need further help deleting data (for example, purchase records), contact us at the email below and we will assist you within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

Linkop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
